Dwight Howard and Lebron James Hold Their Own Dunk Contest…

… for a coveted Big Mac!

If you don’t watch Basketball then this won’t be as funny to you. I’m not a Lebron James fan but I ♥ Dwight Howard (Superman). It is a remake of a 1993 commercial featuring two iconic ball players Michael Jordan and Larry Bird 😀

I never saw the original commercial before I googled the 2011 edition. The original is cute and denotes the 90’s fashion. I prefer the 2011 version because it pulls on the best parts of the 90’s version with a more in your face approach. Dwight Howard’s glass shattering dunk is sexy.

Daniel Craig Shows off a New Look for International Women’s Day

Yesterday, March 8th was International Women’s Day. This is a day for celebrating all the wonderful women in your life, a time to show appreciation for all the hard work women regularly do.  Women while we  have “come a long way, baby”  still have’t gained a paralleled status of equality with our male counterparts. Being a woman – while it has many benefits- is difficult. We still get paid less to perform the same work. We have to worry about walking home alone in case of predators.  We also are subjected to copious double standards.  When I saw the attached link below, I smiled not because of the presentation  but because of Daniel Craig himself. Craig takes it on himself to not only state his support for women but to actually try to ‘walk a mile in her shoes.” Bond with the help of ‘M’ of  sheds light on some pitfalls currently facing women in the United Kingdom. The video encourages viewers to keep asking  “are we equals?”, which she prompts with “until the answer is yes we must never stop asking.” Daniel Craig’s participation in this video certainly makes me like him even more! Way to go Bond, James Bond!

Anyone who knows me well, knows how much I love doggies!!  When I see dogs I squeal with excitement 😀  I mean they are just so cute and loving and bubbly! I also love dog movies!! 😀 😀

Bones is one of my favourite shows 😀  so cute!

 

Double the Circus! – Mashup

I got  a few seasons of Bones as a gift and I love this show. I love the chemistry the cast has with each other! If you want to watch a witty, scientific show with romantic and comedic moments then this is the show to watch 😀  This clip is a cool mashup of the music video Circus by Britany Spears and  the circus scenes from Bones (season 4:Double Trouble in the Panhandle.)

Modern Family – Billy Elliot

I love Cam and Mitchell, they are a really cute and funny couple!  I’ve mostly seen only the first season but I really enjoy watching Modern Family as it always brings a laugh and a smile to my face.
